Domestic Installations
The main-stay of Cowley Electricals work, we are happy to change a light fitting, install an additional socket to an existing circuit, or undertake a part or full re-wire.
Do you have a house with no earth to your lighting circuit?
If you do then it could prove very dangerous to continue using it. This is especially the case if you are using metal switch plates or light fittings, they conduct electricity and should a fault occur there would be no alternative path for this electricity to go other than through you!
No RCD Protection?
In July 2008 the electrical regulations changed, now even lighting circuits require RCD protection.
Any additional work undertaken on a circuit without protection will require the addition of an RCD.
Commercial Installations
Cowley Electrical has undertaken work on business premises such as offices and shops, outward bound centres, libraries and even churches.
Work undertaken by Cowley Electrical on commercial premises would be covered under the NAPIT work guarantee scheme ensuring the installation is covered for 12 months.

- Periodic Inspections - landlord certificate, undertaken for a house sale, or previous certificate expired
